2016.12.22

Amobee, a global marketing technology company serving the world’s leading brands and agencies, today announced that Kim Perell has been appointed to Chief Executive Officer, as current CEO Mark Strecker steps down to pursue new opportunities. Kim Perell currently serves as Amobee’s President, responsible for managing all of Amobee’s worldwide business units, product lines, and technology development and has played a key role in driving the company’s global growth and industry leadership.

The Board at Amobee selected Perell for her exceptional leadership skills, deep knowledge of digital marketing technology, and proven track record of execution and operational excellence. Perell was formerly the CEO of Adconion Direct, which was acquired in 2014 by Amobee.

“Amobee has established itself as a global leader in digital marketing and I am extremely proud of the accomplishments of Mark, Kim and our leadership team. I want to thank Mark for his many contributions to Amobee and Singtel over the last seven years,” said Samba Natarajan, CEO of Singtel Group Digital Life. “Kim’s appointment to CEO is well deserved and she is well positioned to continue Amobee’s success.”

Amobee names Perell as CEO following its continued success delivering market-leading digital advertising solutions for brands and agencies. Amobee was also selected as one of the first Snapchat 3V Advertising Partners, adding to Amobee’s existing ads API integrations with Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest and Twitter.

“I am honored to be named CEO of Amobee,” said Kim Perell. “We have worked together to build a great team delivering innovative solutions for our customers, and I am committed to Amobee’s mission to transform digital marketing.”

Amobee is continuing to expand its leadership team to support global growth. The company recently added Todd Chu as SVP of Global Operator Innovation, who was one of the former founding members of Signal, as well former Verizon/AOL Millennial Media executive, Robert Woolfrey, as SVP of Asia; and recently, promoted Chad Bronstein to SVP of North America Sales. Bronstein was formerly Amobee’s SVP of Global Partnerships, managing strategic partnerships and sales for the Midwest and Western regions.
