Aegis Media、中国にトレーディングデスクを開設

2013.9.7

Aegis Media has announced today the launch of Amnet China – a new digital media programmatic trading desk. Spearheaded as a brand new extension for Real Time Bidding (RTB) services, the establishment of Amnet will strengthen Aegis Media’s expertise in programmatic trading and transform the way it makes digital investments for its clients across the Group’s brands in China.

The dynamics of buying and selling digital media, together with client ambitions, are changing. With the ever increasing supply of real-time biddable inventory, it is easier to make the right choices to deliver the best results for clients. Real time insights provided through digital technology and data gathering now provide the ability and opportunity to understand consumers’ online behaviour better than ever before. Digital footprints allow the right ads to be delivered to the right people at the right time, which was previously difficult to do at scale in China.

Amnet maximises the opportunity this creates, by fusing the best demand side platform (DSP) technology with Amnet China owned market-leading insight tools, to buy highly-targeted, audience-specific digital media. This development will transform clients’ marketing results across China, allowing advertisers to speak directly to customers who are truly engaged with their products and services. Amnet will power programmatic trading across both performance and brand campaigns.

KF Lee, CEO Aegis Media China said: “Amnet as a programmatic trading desk has won quick recognition and wide application by our clients in Europe and America markets. The launch of Amnet in China is one of the key strategic investments for Aegis Media. It will further strengthen our market leadership in digital media and marketing innovation, and provide our clients real-time advertising capabilities so they can truly engage their targeted customers to improve their integrated marketing effectiveness.”

Lawrence Wan, Managing Director of Amnet China said: “Unveiling Amnet China reflects our drive to deliver true audience buying efficiency as the country evolves into a data-driven advertising environment. We are dedicated to providing our clients better performing media through stronger audience targeting, optimizing advertising in real-time. Since May this year, Amnet China has been working with clients and successfully integrated RTB services into their communication strategy. Meanwhile, we have been in unique collaboration with leading DSP and media partners such as Baidu, the biggest search engine in China, on numerous data-driven display technologies to maximize value for clients.”

Amnet will initially operate with digital display, mobile and video but will expand further as real-time trading becomes the norm. Amnet is up and running in the 13 countries including US, UK, and Australia with roll out plans across the Aegis Media Group globally.
